I'm kidding, of course. I appreciate the head's up. So far, from the little bit I've read on the subject, guys say it's a "maybe". It seems that I'll be more likely to get away with lower octane in the cooler temperatures, but we're in the high nineties most of the summer.
Then there's the knock-sensor. My 1999 supercharged Grand Prix likely is equipped. Not so sure about my 2005 H-D, and certainly not my 1973 Shovelhead. As I said, more homework to do!
At any rate, I'm with you. I buy ethanol free gas whenever possible. The link below shows some of the stations in the U.S. and Canada which carry it.
