Finding a PRISTINE example of the 2002 or its predecessor the 1600 is difficult. If I were in the market, I'd carefully go over the rocker panels with a teflon coated magnet looking for what I'll bet is a LOAD of Bondo.
I tried talking my dad into one in 1970 when a 2002 could be had for 3000$. Too bad he went for the Chevy Wagon.
The Tii versions, some of which came with a 5 speed were just Too Much fun. Even better handling, somewhat quicker, they'd give lots of much more $$ stuff a run for it, especially where agility is called for.
