Is it not similar to the "new" 55 T-bird a few years ago, the "new" Mustang, Camaro, Charger of today...? Forget new designs. Take an old design and revisit it instead. Don't get me wrong, they make some nice cars, but the designs are not a revelation by any means.
Yes, the Cimarron was a big boo-boo on the part of GM. They should buy them all and crush them.
As for the Ferrari on the OP, I recall seeing them years back, and being very disappointed, as it was that brand that got me into cars in the first place when I was 15.
