You can thank Simon Cowell and Facebook for their reunion.In '09 someone started an eventually successful Facebook campaign to keep the X Factor winner off the christmas No1 spot in the UK. RATM agreed to re-release 'Killing In the Name Of' and subsequently toured in '10.
The FB campaign was supported by , amongst many others, John Lydon and Paul McCartney.
Mind you de la Rocha is not quite as interesting as Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden.
When he was still representing GB in international fencing tournaments IM planned their tours around them.
