I used to stop by that Tech Hi-Fi almost daily. It was one of their Bargain Basements and I scored a few truly outstanding deals there ...like a Thorens TD-160 for $49. No box, no manual ...but in excellent shape and for forty-nine-bucks !

Sometimes pieces would come in that they did not carry, perhaps a trade in or something they had gotten for evaluation, or products they ordered and decided not to carry and occasionally the prices would be absurdly low.

I enjoyed my time in Waltham.
