That was fantastic!

Related, at AES back in October, in the high resolution audio panel discussion, well-known mastering engineer Bub Ludwig played some samples in various digital formats, from hi-res to very compressed. The more the compression went up and the bitrate down, the artifacts kept getting more and more obvious, to the point where the attacks of notes had obvious "clicks" and the releases sounded "chopped off".

Now I know who's been gathering up all those missing fragments!
