...she is a good singer who can market herself.She was also trained in musical theatre during her time at the CAP21 conservatory (part of New York's Tisch School of Arts). She gained early access by being exceptionally talented (she started playing the piano aged 4).
If Gaga is doing musical numbers now she is just going back to her formal training.Unfortunately I don't like musicals or her more known style of music but she is a good singer/songwriter/pianist.
