Some Canon glass is terrific. For the PRICE I'd NEVER be without the 'plastic fantastic' in the form of the 50mm f1.8 which has NO more metal in it than absolutely necessary. Light, cheap and nearly disposible. Great images.
The Canon Kit Lens? Donate to a landfill ASAP and replace with the Gold Band lens….I think it was a 28-135 or some such. Very good and not L pricing.
The Tamron 90mm f2.8 Macro is good and inexpensive, probably 90% of the Canon or Nikon lens.
I recently SOLD a Canon 20-35 f2.8L which was considered a landmark lens.
I can get similar adaptors for my NEX EMount stuff to MANY others……and it IS tempting!
Too much is never enough
