Good Folk

LWR's story reminds me of this past October 2014 at AES in L.A.

What a great time!

First, I ran into a well-known mastering engineer, who, sadly, is getting up in years and was getting around in a wheelchair, but is still as vibrant and insightful as ever.

Then, I met a major recording studio owner and a very sharp and good-looking tech at a major studio complex in Santa Monica.

Then, sometime after his presentation, which was fraught with microphone cable issues, I talked with another well-known mastering engineer, and he signed my copy of the AES 137th Convention program guide - it was great to finally talk with him in person!

And, you wouldn't believe who walked in while I was talking with a major studio owner and loudspeaker designer... yes, Mr. Altec Engineering himself. THAT was fun!

Well, it gets even more betterer. After the convention, I flew up to the Bay area to see a mentor and friend. That was excellent. He energized me and invigorated me - and learned me some new stuff.

But, wait, there's more...

Over Christmas, I hung out with a top pro musician at his house. We had an excellent time!

Ok, let me know when my story is even more betterer than LWR's panty story.

Alright, alright. I'll go on, since you insist.

;)
