this whole exercise had 2 purposes, one to record the daily development of two rosebushes from just leaves to the bud to the flower.. The other purpose was to not try to make pretty pix but to try for interesting color and abstract, even blurred, forms as the buds come along. Thus the very small depth of field, throwing much of the buds out of focus.
As so that is what I did...
