Henceforth you shall be known as “Yogi”; as in Berra. Moreover, a quick glance at the Top 25 preseason rankings reveals that 9 of those teams (36%) are no longer ranked in the Top 25.

In point of fact it’s not that much different. Currently, 7 of the Top 10 teams were there in the preseason poll. It appears the analysts were pretty accurate in that regard. I hasten to add that 2 of the 3 overachievers (Ole Miss and Mississippi State) are SEC teams. ~:)
Preseason rankings reveal that FSU, Bama, Oregon and Ohio State were ranked 1, 2, 4 and 7. Those teams are currently ranked 1, 2, 3 and 7. Remarkable. What’s more, MSU was ranked 6th preseason and is currently 10th.
