Back in Monday Night Football's glory daze, fans soured by Howard Cosell's pontificatin' had no problem turning up CBS Radio's volume to hear him-n-Hall of Famer Hank Stramm call some legendary contests! There are Bill King fans still miffed that Tim McCarver is a Ford Fricke Baseball Broadcaster Hall of Famer, whilst King has yet to enter either baseball, basketball, or football's broadcaster Hall of Fames (King was once tossed from a Warrior game by late Earl Strom, who groused "I've had enough of your bull-bleep King" on air). 'Tis truly amazing that MadBum, an under 500 regular season pitcher, is now a World Series M.V.P. immortal! San Diego Padre fans can only wonder why Bruce Boche & Tim Flannery had to traverse up to San Fran to experience World Series victory, thrice no less, when they were promised a similar pipe dream when Petco Park was built on their public dime! Poor Oaktown A's fans can only simmer watching their West Bay rivals bask in glory that should have been theirs, until Yeonis Cespedes was traded to Boston's Red Sox! Plus they lost their beloved West Sac River Cats to the Giants, too (Rivercats were A's Triple A farm club since 2000, with 4 Pacific Coast League Championships, but will now be the Giants farm club whilst the A's move their Triple A club to Nashville). A tip of da black-n-orange brim to Kansas City's Royals, who will be an extremely dangerous foe in 2015. After the Giants 2010 victory, E.S.P.N.'s Colin Cowflop had a promo spot where he said no one cared about the Giants outside NorCali! Hey Cowflop, NorCali don't care about y'all, neither! Which is why your show is on tape delay on Sactown's E.S.P.N. Radio outlet! To paraphrase that beautiful box kite which flew over San Fran's Marina Green following the Niners' Super Bowl XIX victory parade, "Thanks Giants! Wonderful Champs"!!!
