as left tackle, played both sides of the ball every game. Was awarded County as well as State honors and awards. Offered 2o scholarships to play football ...opted to do Junior college for all his prerequisite s and played at Foothill College for those 2 years. More offers for college football, decided to save his knees for use later in life. skipped the scholarship and chose Purdue.
Then Virginia Tech (he called it Virgina Tech) for his Masters.
I had the time of my life watching his games, went to every one of them....
