Twins and the Vikings had the same players for years and years, as did the rest of the teams.
Then, individuals started being traded like baseball cards, citizens were expected to fund privately owned stadia, and owners moved teams away from their long-historied homes.
Now, I follow NFL and NBA (baseball lost me during the decade+ of drugging), but only during playoffs (except for the Eagles that have the most innovative and exciting coach, by far; I'll watch a good Philly matchup).
