Fairplay (elevation approx 10,000 ft) is supposedly the model for the dysfunctional town in the tv cartoon comedy series "South Park". Located in South Park, about an hour's drive west of Colorado Springs/Pikes Peak massif.

I asked around for Kenny, Eric and Stan, but everybody looked at me like I was a stoopid tourist. Can you imagine? A park is a local term for an intermontaine pocket between ranges. Yes, there is a North Park.
