93 years on...




"The Kid" still has it.

Relatively high tech (this year on an Epson projector through a computer), another batch of 2nd graders gets introduced to Charlie Chaplin by my wife, their teacher. Most are Latin-American ESL bilingual which means so very little with a silent film that transcends spoken language. They were/are/have been/will be enraptured.

"It's so FUNNY"

"Yeah, while being sad!"

The part where The Tramp is considering throwing the kid in a sewer?

"OH, YOU better NOT!!!" is heard.

These kids are tech savvy and see all the latest blockbusters Hollywood targets them with
and they connect to this wonderful, humanity filled art form.

Life is good!
