I "converted" to a MacBook Air when I retired

Wouldn't use anything else now. No more periodic re-boots to make things run well again. Very few system updates require re-boot. And if they do, re-boot takes maybe 20 seconds instead of several minutes. Light and bright. No more lugging around heavy laptop and associated clunky power supplies. Battery lasts 12-13 hours or more. Keyboard has a great "feel".

I'll never go back to Windoze. Once you convert your mind from "Windows"thinking to "Mac OS" thinking, you'll love it. And that doesn't take very long.
