Agreed. If I saw one of those bald buzzards carrying off one of my pets, I'd be inclined to offer it a blast from a 12 gauge, federal offense or not. Of course since my two dogs weigh about 80 pounds each, the pterodactyl would have to be the national bird to be able to carry them off. But the emotions are understood.
