In Reply to: I worked in Savannah, GA, as a child abuse/neglect social worker for 3 years. A grand jury typically will posted by tinear on September 15, 2014 at 14:13:30:
I ask because I sat on a Dallas County felony grand jury back in 2005 for 3 months. We heard over 1,500 cases and not a one was for child abuse. I'm guessing what usually occurs, in all but the most egregious cases, is coping a plea to some misdemeanor or another.
