not so far. It is illegal to use a jammer. In many years of using this one and before that a custom jammer that I had made I have had no issues with the CHP.
As many times as it has gone off, not one ticket. I do not use it in town, too many false alarms and you have to be nuts to drive fast in town. Freeways and rural roads is where I use it.
If, for some reason, you are stopped it is easy to unplug and pull off it's mount.
I think what it does is give radar guns a false reading, like 200MPH. This causes befuddlement and you just cruise on outa there.
The way I like to drive a mere detector is not enough..
