with there being a plethora of roasters and options.
North Beach used to be the Coffee Capitol of SF with its
heavily Italian-American population and caffe's galore but
now there are roasters & cafes throughout town.I find it amusing that the "pour over" is so so hip and trendy.
That's how I've made my coffee at home for over 30 years
after trying various machines, French press, et al.Had the same cheap ass, plastic melitta brewer for 25 years.
There's still some red discernible beneath the coffee stains.
And if everything was as well built as our 25 YO Krups
grinder, well,,,Enjoying some light roast organic Mexican Chiapas as I type.
