I see them en masse and my son had the unfortunate experience of being nabbed by one. Palmer, Texas cop on I-45 south of Dallas.
Unrelated comment:
I worked in the Bay area 2 years and travelled the interstates daily, I can probably count on one hand the number of speed traps I saw. My buddy and I were amazed. We seldom drove less than 80 unless traffic prevented us tho we did go the speed limit on the daily trip across and back on the Bay Bridge.
