Ditch the dish!

We have friends that spend $240 a month on such (and you better believe that includes "premium" channels).

We have "digital" TV and see all the best series/movies/etc. when they hit disc.

We are patient and as happy as those that spend the $200+per month.

We'll probably start streaming soon, be even more happy.

Of course sports is less than interesting for us, so that does
factor into cable, but the whole cable mentality is screwed, a
total monopoly (as TE states) and the FCC/ our Government
is as guilty as the mega corps for setting up this sad situation.

And, really? It's only going to get worse, just ask Comcast who have the
audacity, power, wealth and determination that small countries can only
dream of.
