The rain is all but over except for some drizzle and light showers plus there is still a stiff breeze out of the north which does feel refreshing after all the heat and humidity of this summer. Lots of leaves and twigs with a smattering of small branches and the occasional larger tree. Power outages were spotty, but not uncommon, so I've been told. No loss here. All the clocks were working and the microwave was not flashing "RESET" at me when I got up. Some minor flooding as happens fairly frequently in a heavy rain. The Conestoga River is supposed to crest tomorrow well above flood stage, but again, that happens every two years or so. Haven't heard the total rainfall amounts yet, but I think it was less than originally predicted. Still, 4 to 5 inches I'm guessing. Just a little farther east the totals are significantly higher.

Hoping NYC and the surrounding area are holding up.
