As far as I know, hardcore pornography is not even legal in South Korea, and there is no way it is deemed acceptable to show it to children. Though pop music singers, teenagers and young adults often dress somewhat provocatively, overtly sexual content on TV and in movies is rare. Even obscene language is frowned upon.

The driver and any other Korean involved were lying big time to your sister in law if they claimed it was acceptable. Maybe it was a prank on her?
