I regard Senna as the outstanding player of the tournament, and the most consistently reliable and skilled defensive midfielder I have seen since the heyday of Makalele performing this role during Chelsea's Premiership-winning season...

Such folk are often unsung heroes as the media attention always gravitates to the goalscorers, but the stable high quality support he has provided has consistently been the foundation from which Spain's attacking play has been generated...

Having the foils of an energetic Iniesta to create space and Fabregas to intelligently use the space provided does indeed provide an impressive midfield unit...

The match may hinge on how far Frings may be able to perform a Senna role for Germany, how far Spain's attacks down the wing pin down Lahm and prevent his own forward runs, the quality and frequency of the German supply of ball to Podolski, and how far Spain's defenders can prevent Sweinsteiger(sp?) using his physical presence to drive home his attacks...

The game has the capacity to be both exciting and absorbing, and I await the start of this game with keen anticipation... :o)
