back in the 70’s at the Wood Buffalo National Park in Northern Alberta while taking a break during my nature call. They look timid from afar however, but once they can smell your presence, you had better watch out for the stampede, which is usually led by their leader a bull that weighs in at almost a ton similar size of the image of the bull above. Bow and many arrows would not be enough to fell him however, if you happen to have an elephant gun with you, it might be just enough to scare him away. The Bison meat tasted like beef the one I had anyway devoid of gamey taste that usually filled with other wild animals and it was quite tender especially the sirloin part. The Bison jerky is my favorite.
