You see, I've had more than a few dogs either myself or with family over the years. They do that because of changes in their life and because they are adapting. You don't know what sensitive points Roscoe has, so it is hard to pin down. Fortunately, it is nearing summer and you can leave Roscoe outside. But you MUST treat Roscoe just like you do the other dogs.

Take my beloved Celeste (Collie), for instance. Leave her alone in the house while you make a quick trip to the store, and she would pick a room a smother it in poop. Or my beloved Ewok (Shepherd). Move her to a new house, and she just rips out all of the window screens. Twice. Bring her in because it is late autumn and because you have a different house and the cat has a different hairdo or something, giant piles of dog doo. As in more than you'd expect from a cow.

The best advice I can offer: Next time go save a smaller dog. Smaller dog = smaller messes, but not necessarily a better experience. (I'm kidding there. I am sworn to save all dogs and cats that need it and approach my doorstep.)

It is nerves. Perhaps a vet can help with sedatives, but there are side effects from those as well. Like when I take antibiotics.........well, never you mind.
