A large loose pile of poo isn't normal. So I'd run her to the vet for a checkup. If you don't want to spend the money and time, then I'd suggest different food. Wean him off the current one and on to the new one over a week or so.

When my house trained dogs "forget" themselves and poop in the house, it's normally a message to us that we aren't paying enough attention to them. But because you walk your dogs and they have places to roam, that may not be the case in your situation. So I'd just try to figure out why the stools are loose, get that taken care of, and you might have more success with outdoor pottying.
