In all seriousness, aren't the little jobs you've "put off until tomorrow" the most rewarding? Although those "little" jobs often turn out to be a royal pain in the ass, when I'm done I feel like I've conquered the world!
Case in point: I just put a plug on a cord that had gotten stuck behind my record cases. I'd thought, when we put the record cases up, that leading it through one of the cubes would be a good idea...it wasn't. So the extension cord sat there unused for 2 years...a nice long, heavy duty cord. I finally unplugged it with great difficulty and cut off the plug so I could pull the cord through. That was about a week ago. I knew I had a heavy duty plug "somewhere" and did, just got it attached, checked it out and put it to work. The pain was the utility knife that was down here for months was NOT when I needed to slice the ends of the wires...little crap...but it's done.
I guess I wouldn't think it was a big thing if I had a back so I could do BIG things, but even if I did, it's the type job that would have been put off until tomorrow.
Next target: Finish aligning the Kenwood table I stopped working on because I needed more light.
