Sgt. A. Kinne says that during intel gathering that included listening to cell phone calls from Iraq they determined the Palestine Hotel as having journalists, NGO's and the like but no terrorists. However, even though she questioned it, the hotel was left on a "target list". On April 8th 2003 the US hit the Palestine and killed two journalists with tank fire. Three officers on the tank reported alleged RPG fire, but not from the hotel(area) which it turns out was too far away to hit them. They fired on the hotel anyway. One soldier says that they waited ten minutes before receiving orders to fire on the Palestine. Colin Powell is on tape saying he knew the Palestine had journalists and should not have been a target. Spain wants to put the three on trial but the US won't let them. The US also targeted and killed two other known Arab journalist sites that day.(Abu Dabi, Al Jazeera) This has been the worst war ever in terms of journalists getting killed. We "really" don't know what's going on over there even today.......FUBAR~
