there's no choice other than Blanton's. By far it is my very favorite. It's not outrageously expensive but it sure ain't cheap.

Why not REALLY surprise him and present him with a case of assorted Bourbons? Go to a really good liquor store and ask, telling him or her what his favorite Bourbon is now...if you know. Then he gets to have the fun of comparing.
