My day so far:
* Put gas in the truck ($103.00).
* Head over to my folks with Mothers Day gift (20+ miles).
* Forget Mothers Day gift.
* Drive back home, grab Mothers Day gift, drive back to parents (40+ miles).
* Grab Fathers extension ladder (to paint the entryway ceiling). Doesn't fit in truck (14 foot ladder, 8 foot truck bed).
* Drive home, pick-up trailer, go back to parents (40+ miles).
* Load ladder into trailer, drive back home (20+ miles).
* Unload trailer, drive to Home Depot for lumber (8 miles).
* Pickup "some" lumber, drive to other Home Depot for remainder, drive home (20+ miles).
* Install casings around new doors. Split more than a few casings (Damn!).
* Use "extra" casings to finish trimming-out one side of all doors.
* Look around and notice I'm out of casing material.
* Think, "Hmmmm. I could have sworn I had enough".
* Re-count doors, check receipt, and check material brought home.
* Notice I told cashier I had Qty "x" 7 foot pieces of trim, when in actuality I had only "x-y".
* Bang head against wall.
* Get in truck to go back to Home Depot and notice an awful lot of that $103.00 worth of gas is already gone.
Shit.
