Well said, but sadly "delivered excellence" has taken a backseat to the expediencies of mass production (and planned obsolescence, alleged or otherwise). Unfortunately there is insufficient demand for high quality goods, audio being only one sad example, and I doubt whether this trend will change anytime soon given the economic "health" of the times.
