like leibfraumilch / Blue Nun? yerrrccchhhhh!
No ours are rather like the stickies made from semillon in in France, rather more intense and more golden, due to our SUNNNNNN! Aussie makes a LOT of this kind of unfortified wine.
Mike and I do both tend to focus on dry table wines, and the quaffers. But this thing for stickies has always been there!
Mike and I also love our fortified (sweet?) wines eg. Aussie ports, both the somewhat drier single vintage items aged in the bottle, and the cask aged blended rubies and tawnies! AND our justly renowned muscats / frontignacs, also blends of aged fortified wine.
For Feets in particular ..... in the 'Have some madiera m'dear' tradition!?
Buller's Calliope winery, near Rutherglen in NE Victoria made (still?) a particularly lovely one of these which had nothing in it younger than 12 years, Buller Calliope, Black Label, Liqeuer Frontignac. Marvellous floral nose and very much a valuable thing for a night cap for one's lady friends. Yummie they'd all say, and ask for some MORE
Mike and I called it 'the OLO'! ;-) !
