I trust that you've also managed to spare a thought for the good lady - as she must have been under a fair amount of strain through all this (not to diminish your part either... :-) Give her a hug as often os possible.

I'm glad to hear that your procedure was completed without any hitches and that you're on the road to recovery - your somewhat acerbic wit was conspicuous by it temporary absence....
