I am pleased it was the kid I thought it was who stole the bike as it means it wasn’t some other type of low-life scum combing the neighbourhood looking to steal things.
I was lucky growing up as I can’t remember having anything ever stolen.
It is tragic when a young boy (or girl) decides to steal property of significant value. (we are not talking a chocolate bar here) I don’t know what will become of the boy.
My son hasn’t said too much about the incident but I can tell he is pretty upset & confused about knowing it was a kid he looked up to & called a friend who actually stole his bike.
