I have compared the Tungsram 12ax7 to both Sovteks, LP and LPS. There is no comparison, at least in my system. The Tungram blows them away in smoothness and musicality. It's soundstage might not be as big but every instrument is precisely positioned.The Sovteks sound very good, but are a little harsh sounding compared to the T.
