...some use potential dividers just based on resistors, some use transistors (see Morgan Jones). I tried Morgan Jones's potential divider based on MPSA42. Followed by 47-ohm rsistor to elevate the voltage symetrical. I elevate one part by +200V, the other by +40V. Are there any further tricks to know (secondary isolation of the transformer, some additional filtering caps needed etc) ? I have here a nice oscillation from the heater when utilizing thos setup (with LT1085).

Any hint is highly appreciated.
