For what Rubycon charged for some of those parts, they weren't "gold plated", they were solid 24K gold, cryo'd, dipped in beeswax, coated with C-37 lacquer, then age-annealed for 24 years in Italy!A new set of amps would be nice, but a phono stage complete with pre-drilled housing would be even nicer right now (ahem).
