Brian,

I enjoyed your Oris review, and I concur with your comments. I have been using the Oris horns for well over a year and they are easily the best speakers that I have ever owned in my over fifty years in this hobby. I have a picture and a less comprehensive review on Bert's web site.

I am using Lowther PM4A drivers in the horns. Could you comment on the differences in sound between the conventional Lowther cones and the AER cones. I upgraded drivers from PM2A to 4A less than six months ago and I do do not wish to take a big loss on these drivers trading up to the AER cones if I can avoid it.

I know what you mean bout the macropdynamic, or compression situation, I noticed this too. I reciently pulled my 25 watt, SV572 amps out of the closet to see how they would sound with the horns, and they sounded great. The dynamic compression was gone. I would have thought that my 300B amps would have been over kill, but I learn more all of the time.
