I have a feeling that the 15" HPDs are 93 - 95 db. You should check that. The Churchills are more efficient still about 96- 98 db from memory. I have a pair of Turnberrys that are 93 db and I use a 300B without any problem at all. I would not need a more powerful amp for my listening requirements.
