I just got back from a demo of Conrad Johnson preamp. It was not what my system needs right now. But then the guy whips out a Nagra preamp. It is battery based with two tubes doing the heavy lifting. So I think to myself, Hey, that sounds like that new Welborne Preamp

Has anyone heard both? How do they compare?
