I have a V.35 amp ( bought a couple of years ago, finally assembled about 6 months ago!) which makes great music, and have a query.
Could anyone who has experience in tube amps or who owns one of these tell me if the temperature buildup on the mains tranny as well as the aluminium top plate is normal. I find that after my amp is on for about 60-90 minutes or more, the transformer is pretty warm to touch-I cant touch it for longer than,say 5-6 seconds; also the aluminium cover plate is pretty warm-part of this , is from the valves I suppose.
Any input welcome.
