Hmm, I'm not in my office now so I can't look it up but I think it might be a 2A3-L5.
.047? This should be a .1uf Sounds like Stephen may have been purposefully rolling off the bottom end to bi-amp.
I am a bit confused here. In my manual (which says 2A3-L5 Deluxe, although the owner says it is Moondog), the ratings for the two coupling caps are stated as .22uf/400v Musicaps. You mention that is should be .1uf. Another owner said his "Moondog" manual said .22uf as well.
Which is the correct value for the best sonics in relation to your experience, Ron (or others)?
Have anyone had a chance to compare the Tantalum resistors compared to the Caddocks?
I have a had a few write to tell me to return to the correct (.22uf) value for both caps. Someone even suggested using a Hovland in the first cap before the Jensen.
Any and all advice and or comments much appreciated.
Thanks,
kelly
