DRD 2a3 or 300B, defferences in detail, musicality?

I was sold on the DRD 300B, but I've read a lot recently that people are prefering the 2a3 tube for a more refined sound. Of course there are a lot of people who prefer the 300B, I'm just trying to get a couple opinions.

I'm wondering if this is true with the Welborne kits, or if they're about the same detail-wise. Sounds like there is a little more bass weight in the 300Bs from Ron's post below. I'm not looking for a sound that is at all bloated or too warm sounding. I prefer a tube sound that leans more towards neutral (I realize this is subjective), yet is involving.( I don't love the typical Cary sound.) Does the only real difference between these two in these kits lie in the low-end? (and the obvious...power)

I'm hoping to pull the trigger next week on one or the other, just trying to be as informed as possible. Thanks much!
