Has anyone tried adding a 12.6v heater transformer and ran these tubes in a Moondog? They run about $3 each and seem to have the same characteristics as a 6SN7 driver...but for less than half price and with greater availibility. I've seen a lot of NOS supply of these. Any comments on ease of changing heater and sonics?
