I am using this combination, and I love it. I have the headphone tap of the output transformer hooked up to output #2, with a simple dpdt switch between each of the outputs and taps to select between the headphones and my amplifiers. It works great.The sound of this combination is very pure and non-tiring. I can listen for hours. The music does not seem colored in any way, at least to my ears, and the background is silence.
It is unfortunately very easy to hear the difference between good and crummy cd's. I do most listening with speakers, but when everyone is asleep, I really enjoy the ultrapath bp/HD 600 combination.
