I sent you an email on this....not sure if you got it though. You can also use a GZ34 or 5AR4 with good results. I also used a 5Y3 for a bit. You will find that B+ can go up or down a bit depending on tube, but nothing to make a really big difference. I adjusted the value of the small power risistors in the input/driver stage when using the 5Y3, but it wouldn't hurt to try without that.
I honestly don't spend very much time tube rolling anymore, especially with rectifiers. I'm just lazy, I guess! :)
