One thing I'd recommend is for you to hang out on the high efficiency speaker forum, along with Bert Doppenberg's forum for a while. Let the whole thing sink in over time.
Where you'll arrive is that by building your own (even if you have to pay a cabinet maker) or buying used, you can get incredible bang for the buck.
A bit higher up on the food chain of course are the Oris horns. Ron recognizes that many folks are not inclined or able to pick up a saw, and is coming out with kits - such as the Onken bass cabinet for the Oris horns.
Disclaimer - I know and like Ron, having gotten to know him by being a (happy) customer. I also know his cabinet maker who builds the Vifa/Onken kits and the amplifier bases. Reading between the lines, I'm guessing that these two crafty fellers will have some more killer speaker designs at several points in the food chain in the future for folks looking to break into low power triodes.
I say this not because I have any inside information, but because knowing them, they have a good understanding of the problem folks face and are prone to having creative solutions.
